FNP Military Press

Project Description:

Mediacurrent was hired by FNP Military Press to create a content management system and web site to showcase and provide online sales for their line of WWII aviation books.

FNP Military Press needed a website that could feature all of their book titles, provide author bios, and most importantly, a shopping cart for online sales transactions with USPS & UPS shipping options.

Project Goals:

In addition to the above, other project goals included:
- Create a custom CMS workflow for adding, categorizing, and displaying products
- Setup ecommerce functionality to add products, pricing, and shipping quotes
- Setup tax conversion functionality
- Setup and configure payment gateway using Authorize.net

- Create site architecture
- Create custom content types
- Setup ecommerce and shopping cart functionality
- Setup and configure payment gateway
- Create functionality for email newsletter signups
- Setup ability to create and launch email newsletters using the CMS
- Integrate Google Analytics for user site tracking
- Design UI (user interface ) graphics, content layout, and overall visual design
- Theme content types, page nodes, site menus, and views
